1. Requirements for the design of portable solar backup power supply:
The portable solar backup power supply uses solar energy as the conversion source, converts the solar energy into
electrical energy, and stores the electrical energy through lithium batteries to achieve the purpose of outdoor power supply for mobile digital products. The whole product uses a single large-capacity lithium battery as the energy storage device, and the charging adopts a double-layer charging mode: that is, the solar panel receives sunlight to charge, and the charger charges the bidirectional charging mode. The output adopts 5V output. The maximum output current can reach 2A, which can meet the power supply requirements of related digital products. Accurate LED power display, which effectively displays the remaining power of the battery to the user in the form of LED lights at an accurate percentage to achieve efficient and intuitive purposes.
2. Design scheme of portable solar backup power supply:
1) Protection IC: It is a protection circuit designed mainly for rechargeable lithium battery packs. Due to the chemical characteristics of the lithium battery itself, it needs to provide protection functions such as overcharge, overdischarge, short circuit, and overcurrent. In order to avoid the danger of burning and explosion, etc.
2) Step-down module part: solar panel (5V/350mA), 5V charger input step-down module, according to the characteristics of lithium battery, the specific pre-charge, constant current, constant voltage charging mode step-down charging function.
3) Boosting module part: adopt regulated 5V output circuit, the maximum output current can reach 2A.
4) Charger module part: adopt Tonghe charger 5V/1.5V
5) LED display part: the battery power is expressed by voltage comparison.
6) Solar panel part: convert solar energy into electrical energy, the output parameter is 5V/350mA
7) Lithium battery cell: PL6535134/3.4Ah/3.7V (ATL).
